Matthew Scott Wade (conceived 26 December 1987) is an Australian cricketer, who has spoken to the Australian national group as wicketkeeper in every one of the three manifestations of universal cricket (Test, One-Day International and Twenty20 International). He plays local five star and List A cricket for the Victoria Bushrangers, and residential Twenty20 cricket for the Melbourne Stars.

Initially from Hobart, Tasmania, Wade played both cricket and Australian guidelines football until the age of 19, partaking in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and also playing underage football for the Tassie Mariners in the TAC Cup. In the wake of speaking to Tasmania in one List A match, he moved to Victoria for the 2007–08 season to further his chances. He soon settled himself as Victoria's first-decision wicket-guardian, and was chosen in the Australia A side in 2010, and made his introduction for Australia the accompanying season.

Matthew Scott Wade Early life
Wade was conceived in Hobart on 26 December 1987. He is the child of Scott Wade, who played football for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and the Clarence and Hobart Football Clubs in the Tasmanian Football League (TFL). His granddad, Michael Wade, served as president of the Hobart Football Club. Wade spoke to Tasmania in underage cricket and underage football, bad habit captaining the Tassie Mariners in the TAC Cup, where he played close by future Australian Football League players Sam Lonergan, Grant Birchall and Jack Riewoldt. He speaking to Australia at the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. At 16 years old, he was diagnosed with testicular malignancy, and got two rounds of chemotherapy before he was cleared of the infection.

Matthew Wade International career
Taking after his achievement in residential restricted overs cricket, Wade was rung to the Australian group without precedent for October 2011, for a Twenty20 International against South Africa. In February 2012, he made his universal achievement as a T20i player against India in Sydney, opening the batting and scoring 72 runs from 43 balls to gain the Man of the Match grant.

Taking after that T20i arrangement, Wade was rung to the Australian One Day International group for the 2011–12 Commonwealth Bank arrangement. He won the Man of the Match honor on presentation, scoring 67 runs off 69 balls against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Amid the arrangement, he solidified his spot as Australia's first decision constrained overs wicket-manager, and normally opened the batting.

Matthew Wade was a piece of the Australian group for the 2011–12 voyage through the West Indies as the constrained overs wicketkeeper. Nonetheless, after Test wicketkeeper Brad Haddin returned home before the Test matches on the grounds that his little girl was sick, Wade was chosen to supplant him.
